Referred to as the jewel of British Columbia's Okanagan Valley, Peachland is located at the entry to the Coquihalla Connector Highway linking the Okanagan to the BC's Lower Mainland. It is 34 km south of Kelowna and home to 5,000 residents that enjoy living in this serene and historic community. Peachland began life as Camp Hewitt in the early 1890s. Augustus (Gus) Hewitt, a prospector and logger, had diggings near Pincushion Mountain. In those days, the area between Deep and Trepanier creeks bore the name. 

This picturesque locale is nestled on the shores of Lake Okanagan with stretches of downtown pebble beaches, beautiful provincial parks, gourmet restaurants and bistros and plenty of activities and shopping for all ages. Fabulous lake views from many of the area's homes combined with small town appeal, add to this quiet community. Peachland boasts 8 kilometres of clean pebble beach along the downtown waterfront, lakeshore parks, hiking trails, its own doggy beach, boat launches, tennis court and a full-serve marina. Each year it's host to an antique car show, farmers and crafters market, Canada Day parade and festivities, fall fair, mini triathlon and Christmas light-up just to name a few. A community-minded township, Peachland offers a wellness centre, seniors activity centre and a variety of societies and associations to become involved with. Visitors to this fair town join local residents in enjoying its distinctive restaurants and award winning local wineries.
